The perfect finals playlist

Are you studying on the fourth floor of the Rock for the fourth consecutive hour? Or are you glued to your booth in the Blue Room, devouring yet another muffin with every chapter you read? It doesn’t matter how you’re coping with finals season — Blog is here with a playlist that reflects your struggles and is bound to keep you motivated through December 21st.

“Perfect Duet” by Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé

Is it just me, or does the harmonious union of Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé’s voices reflect the melodic beeping of SciLi security and the pounding of the wind against the windows? If you’re in agreement, then this song is a must for your finals studying!

“Lonely Together” by Avicii and Rita Ora

This one’s for your loyal study buddy — you know, that special person who keeps you company while you read, write, and cry hysterically in the library. If you guys have to shut out the world during finals season, at least you can be Lonely Togetheras Avicii and Rita Ora would say!

“Let Me Go” by Hailee Steinfeld, Alesso, Florida Georgia Line, and watt

Your mandatory three-hour block of final presentations has gone over its time slot, and you’re already planning an escape route through the air vents. Is faking a heart attack too cliché, or just cliché enough? If these options are too drastic for you, simply sing this song to your professor instead.

“Betrayed” by Lil Xan

How could your professor do this to you? That final had five questions on some topic she never even discussed in class! You feel as if your heart has been ripped out of your chest — as Lil Xan would say, you feel Betrayed.

“Let You Down” by NF

This song says it all to your parents, so you don’t have to: “I wish that I could say I’m proud. I’m sorry that I let you down.” Hopefully Mom and Dad appreciate this sick jam so much that they forget about the 40% you got on your orgo final!

Happy studying!
